It was a beautiful day for fishing yesterday as locals were catching Pickerel and trout off the point SE of the channel in 55-65 feet of water and at the horse shoe SW of the channel in 60-70 feet of water. Purple and orange spoons or pink and silver body baits seemed to be doing the trick with lines set approximately 30-40 feet deep however, in the late afternoon fish seemed to be higher up so locals fished approximately 15-25 feet deep.

They seem to have found a few fish East of the Point of Pins and South out to the Rockline. They were running dipsys back 90 to 100ft, purple spoons were working the best.  Some boats were still fishing West up by Dealtown for walleye, and catching a few also.

The fishing was not to bad yesterday considering the weather, man it got rough if you were out 5 or 6 miles.  They took a few walleyes West and also a few steelhead out to the SE, have not heard any reports yet today but when I do I will post.
