Wow the fishing is a little slow this spring, with all these East winds.  But the water temp is coming up and the fish are heading East from Leamington.  Adam from Harpoon Charters went West to Port Crew and picked up four Walleyes in 45ft of water.  They have been picking up the odd steelhead of the Point. It should not be long with the 80 deg weather coming.

We went fishing last night and caught two walleyes and one steelhead, and lost two steelhead.  We started at the lighthouse and trolled to the rifle range, all the the fish were up high in the top 10ft. Three colour leadcore was hot.

Well the season is coming, we are catching a few perch in the bay and the channel.  One boat went out trolling and caught 2 walleye between the harbour and rifle range, not sure what they were using, but they were fishing up high.   All the Silver Streak spoons are in and I think there is five new colours. Still waiting on the Pro Kings maybe the end of the week. Great news the Legion Branch 185 from Blenhiem is taking over the 33rd annual fishing derby that starts on June 29th.
