Well the steelhead fishing was good yesterday, the afternoon bite was great. Boats were coming in with 10 to 20 steelhead and 3 and 4 walleyes. Everyone was fihing East 100degs to 60ft of water, I talked to a few boats that fished in 48 to 52ft of water and did really well, they said the pack was outside of them by about 4 miles. There is no one program that is working or colour of spoon, if you catch a couple, mark that spot and fish it.
The steelhead seem to be all over East 100deg, talked to one boat he was in 50ft of water running 10 jets and catching them, and the other boat was in 60ft on the rock line running 40jets back 150ft. There were more boats fishing the 60 to 65ft of water. I would say if you find a spot with fish mark it and stay there. They were all running dipsys back 130ft and the rigger down 40ft, and the spoons were , kevorkian, brown torut and copper hotrod. Some boats are still running 220deg to the horseshoe and catching a few walleyes,
Very thing is the same , steelhead to the East 90 deg, and walleyes 220degs South. I heard the East there were using 40jets back 130ft with spoons, and dipsys back 130ft on a 3.
