Nice weather outside with an East wind at about 6-7 knots on average. There have been many boats going out today. The locations are still staying the same with steelhead being caught at 135 degrees southeast in about 60-65ft of water off of the point. Jerry Lee’s and basically any orange and copper colour have seemed to be hitting. Haven’t heard much from boats going west towards the horseshoe; however, news just in that there are perch being caught off of the rifle range and in the bay close to the channel.
The fishing is back on, they are fishing 135degs out to 62ft of water and then trolling out to 70ft. Nothing has changed dipsyes back 130ft on a 3 setting with orange spoons. Forty jets back 160ft off the planner boards, 7 and 8 colour leadline is also working. There is a good mix of steelhead and walleyes here.
The fishing has slowed up a little, but there are still doing good. Head out of the harbour 110 deg to you hit the rockline. They are saying there are lots of bait there. Run the same program as we have had all summer, If you are fishing at night they seem to be coming up.
