We regret to announce that the derby
will not be held this summer. 

The uncertainty of the COVID-19 crisis and public safety concerns led to the difficult decision to cancel. 
Keeping everyone safe is the number one reason
the tournament was cancelled.  

We’d like to take the opportunity to thank
the many businesses and organizations
that provide sponsorship as well as prizes,
ensuring the success of the Derby, year after year.

A big shout out to Ralph and Yvonne McCormick, co-chairs,
for their tireless efforts to organize and promote the Derby.

Looking forward to a bigger and better event in 2021 – see you all next year.

We’re excited to announce the popular derby will,
once again, hit the water this summer.

The Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 185, in Blenheim, are sponsoring the Derby,
one of the oldest tournaments on Lake Erie.

The Derby starts on Saturday, June 27th, 2020
and ends on Sunday, July 12th, 2020.

Grand prizes will be awarded to
the top three catches of salmon and pickerel,
as well as additional prizes for juniors.
